In May 1968, John Lennon and Paul McCartney appeared on NBC’s Tonight Show to announce the launch of their record label, Apple Records. Adam Bond, age 19, took the news as his personal invitation to share his songs with his musical idols, and began a journey from YVR to Heathrow. His destination: 3 Saville Row.
Written as an imaginative adaptation of his own real-life journey, Greenfield’s novel All You Need is Courage celebrates the possibility of saying yes and the ‘what ifs’ of paths not taken.
